畢業於廣州美術學院，從事酒店陳列設計十多年。有多個星級酒店藝術品及裝置創作經驗，在色彩定義上，有其個人獨到見解和認識。他認為色彩是有生命的，不是物理意義的，也就是說，色彩像人一樣，也要有神與情，要注入場景與人有關的情節，如文化、民族風情等。作品要不脫離生活，有內涵價值。除此之外，好的作品，要運用設計色彩制造相互矛盾、撞擊，才使作品富有生命。在他看來，色彩和顏色，在他看來具有質的區別，色彩是有生命力的組合，而顏色只是材料。
